Sunday, September 22 Chad and I spent the weekend working on the house. Well, we spent Saturday working in the garage. Chad drove the truck up loaded with the windows that I found on a Willow walk. The guy that was working on the house where the windows were said he was going to throw the windows in the garbage. I am sure he thought I was crazy when I asked if I could have them. Ended up with 5 wooden windows and a door. I have a lot of work to do. The windows all had the framing and the weights attached. What an amazing find. I also found a free wallpaper steamer the day before this on a Willow walk. I am planning on making a steam box to help with removing the old glazing on these windows.
