FB MARKETPLACE DEALS AND HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
I got 2 bathroom faucets off Marketplace for $100 each. They were originally $330 each and they are so beautiful. Solid brass. Then we headed over to Habitat and I found a kitchen faucet and some wooden heat grate covers. Made a stop at Harbor Freight for some miscellaneous stuff. Ended the day picking up some wood window and glass out in Burien off marketplace. We got 5 windows that we are hoping to put in the porch as fixed windows. The guy had a bunch of wood windows from years of saving them when he would replace windows in people's houses. He is going to take the rest to the dump if he can't sell them and I hate hearing that. I am hoping that he lets me know when he gets ready to take them to the dump because I am just crazy enough to go out there and take them.
I took pictures of the house off the listing because I really haven't taken a lot of pictures. Especially pictures of the inside of the house.
Upstairs hall looking into Wren's room
The porch that had the washer and dryer.
This is going to be my studio. It is an upstairs bedroom.
Upstairs bathroom.
Wren's room
Our bedroom upstairs.
The pantry? off the kitchen.
Kitchen looking into living room.
Kitchen looking towards back yard. Yes there were 2 fridges in there.
Inside of the downstairs bathroom. This one is going away. Far, far away.
Kitchen. Chad tore out the lower cabinets in the kitchen and some of the floor this weekend.
Living and dining room. Chad also got that wood stove going this weekend. We are debating what to do about the wood stove. We may put some kind of stove there. Just not sure yet.
Dining room looking into the living room.
We discovered last weekend that the concrete pad that the stove is sitting on is sitting on carpet underneath so the wood floors should be in good shape under there hopefully.
The downstairs bedroom that will be our master when we are too old to climb the stairs.
Looking at the closet in the downstairs bedroom. Somehow we have to get a bathroom in here.
Looking in the front door.
Side of the house with that hideous bathroom. The walls in that bathroom look like shiplap. I took out the toilet roll holder and you can see shiplap inside the walls. This house is build strong. Like bull.
The garage which is going to be our wood shop. I will call him Woody. Chad thinks I could park my Prius in there and still have a lot of room. We will see.
Backyard.
That door on the right opens up to the stairs. We are thinking of closing that off. The door does not open all the way because it bumps into the stairs.
The front deck with bead board ceiling. We will need to paint this blue. I guess in the south they paint porch ceilings blue to ward off evil spirits.
That upstairs window is my studio and the downstairs window is the kitchen. The door on the left is the porch that had the washer and dryer.
